God of War.

Also known as "The Blood Knight."

The priests of this religion are called the Acolytes of Vorak. They commit themselves zealously to their cause and will lay down their lives for any undertaking in the name of Vorak. They can be recognized by their blood-red mantles which bear the symbol of Vorak, a golden sword with the blade downward.

Temples devoted to Vorak are known as Armories.
Each Armory has an altar upon which an Altar Sword is mounted. These are greatswords which carry the divine blessings of Vorak; holy relics that are never to be taken from the Armory except in times of dire need. Despite their appearance of gold, they are formidable weapons of exceeding sharpness and strength.

Acolytes of Vorak consider battle to be their primary form of prayer. They may also seek divine guidance through what they call a "blood vision." They attempt this by slitting their palm (or other non-lethal location) with a naked blade, drawing blood. If successful, this places them into a brief trance in which they experience a vision sent by Vorak.

For a brief period of time in the late 490's, while assisting Tarrik Aldarion (now Griffin of Magik in Karandia), Acolytes were forbidden from seeking blood visions. However, this ban was lifted in 500 AY.

Worshipped primarily in Gesnor and Icara.
